Oh the irony. After much debate and, frankly, having my hand forced by posterous’s post-by-email primary interface as well as their generally sluggish website, I am seamlessly (to all and sundry) moving my whole kit and kaboodle back to the safe hands of wordpress with all its themes and plugins and stuff. Tumblr was a close runner for my new home for most of this year but I just can’t import my old posts and that was the killer. Tumblr is good for new newbies but not for a grizzled ole blogger like me with posts way back in like 2005.
